Ghost Soap | Lavender Blossom Style | 90% Olive Oil

During “lavender blossom season” on our farm, we infuse gallons and gallons of our soap oil with fresh Michigan grown English Lavender blossoms to capture the essence of our lavender fields and scent our products naturally.  We then saponify those oils with our farm hydrodistilled (not steam distilled) English Lavender hydrosol.  All of this creates our light and natural scent in this “Lavender Blossom” Ghost Soap.  We only use this natural scent:  no camphorous lavandins, no stinky chemically processed adulterated lavender 40/42 blends and no synthetic fragrances.

Our “Ghosties” (Ghost Soap) are made with 90% Extra Virgin Olive Oil sourced directly from a Greek organic olive farm.  We do not use solvent (chemical) extracted pomace.  This pure and simple formulation has zero colorants or titanium dioxide.  It is an off-white/light buttery yellow natural color from all of the oils.  Mindfully sourced and curated ingredients produce a silky smooth slip and lotion-like lather:  Lavender Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Lavender Hydrosol, Goat Milk, Sodium Hydroxide (no trace after saponification,) Organic Coconut Oil, Castor Oil and Honey from our Farm Bees.

Each individual ghost soap weighs approximately 3 ounces.

Contrary to popular belief:  soap does not “nourish,” “moisturize,” “replenish” or cure skin diseases.  Soap is a wash off product and any benefits from oils, milk, honey or any other additives are “zapped” away during the saponification process.  Bar soap may strip your skin’s natural oils and leave you with dry skin if the wrong ingredients are used.  Resulting in skin that feels “tight,” “itchy,” or even flaky.  Bar soap may leave you feeling “moisturized” when your skin’s oils are not stripped away.  A well formulated soap will not strip your skin’s natural oils and dry out your skin.  Our soap does what it is supposed to do:  simply clean your body without stripping natural oils away.

Our soap is cured a minimum of 3 months and longer.  You may feel confident knowing that you are using a high quality bar of lavender blossom soap.  You are not paying for unevaporated water (in our case, lavender hydrosol) or improperly cured soap that didn’t have a chance to form its crystalline structure.

Every bar of our soap is lovingly handmade in small batches, ensuring that each one carries a unique touch of care and craftsmanship. Because we prioritize quality over quantity, you might notice slight variations in color or a gentle hint of soda ash on the surface — these are not imperfections but signs of our authentic, artisanal process.
